Is it too much to ask that a higher education marketing class actually covers marketing from this decade? Currently taking a course where the lectures were recorded 12+ years ago. Pretty sure my textbook thinks Facebook is still new and TikTok is just a song by Kesha. Paying tuition for ancient history in a field that changes every 6 months is wild. 🙃📉

Just terrible. I hope you never have to access any external labs as part of your courses. If so, you are SOL and LSU staff will just keep pushing you off on the external partner for help.

I’ve had a fantastic experience so far. I joined several online groups, and I’ve received the support I need to feel connected and involved. As a transfer student from Purdue Global, I’d rather have a degree from a reputable institution like LSU than be ridiculed in a job interview for attending “Purdue Global University.” You might think you have to teach yourself, but the professors are responsive and helpful when you reach out to them. My student advisor calls me once every few weeks to check in. I absolutely love it here!
